Our Nursery
Tiny Town Coventry is based in a bungalow, situated in the semi-rural location of Eastern Green, on the outskirts of Coventry. The nursery has places for 44 children per day. The hallways in the interior of the nursery are decorated by hand painted murals.
Rooms and Ratios
We have 3 base rooms across the nursery for the various age groups that we accommodate for. They are as follows:
Babies and Toddlers – 0-2 years Ratio – 1 member of staff to 3 children
Tweenies – 2-3 years Ratio – 1 member of staff to 5 children
Pre-School – 3-5 years Ratio – 1 member of staff to 8 children
We have a dedicated sleep room so children can have the rest and relaxation needed as specified by parents/carers. We also have a sensory room, housing all of the specialised equipment to make the room as relaxing or energetic as it needs to be!
Transport
There are excellent transport links to the city centre and surrounding towns such as Kenilworth and Balsall Common.
Parking
The nursery has a secure in and out drive and parent parking.
Outdoor Area
Tiny Town Nursery Coventry, has 2 outdoor areas, including an under 2’s garden which adjoins the children’s play room and a large over 2’s garden, running along the back of the nursery. The garden’s have safe outdoor spongy play floors for added protection and have secure fencing around the perimeters.
Children are encouraged to access the outdoors at all times and in all weathers. Therefore, we ask that they are provided with the appropriate clothing:
Wet weather – wellies, waterproofs and puddle suits.
Cold weather – coats, hats, scarves and gloves
Warm weather – sun cream (factor 30 or over and within date and a sun hat)
