Tiny Town Nurseries follow a stringent safer recruitment policy to ensure the safety of the children at the settings adhering to the EYFS Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements.
The Company Director and Nursery Manager have attended the Safer Recruitment training and will be involved in the interview process to support management at all sites.
Applicants will be required to complete an application form detailing employment history, qualifications and medical history and provide three references before interview. They will be asked if the Nursery can contact the references prior to interview and this will be done with their consent.
Potential staff will be put through a selection process involving a formal interview and a play session trial. Applicants will be made aware of what is expected in interview.
Individuals will be required to bring proof of their qualifications to interview and copies will be taken. Successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS and to attend Paediatric First Aid training.
Tiny Town Nurseries operate and open door policy for staff that need advice from management and we will endeavour to support staff.
