Individuals employed by Tiny Town Nursery have a dedicated commitment to providing high standards of quality childcare to all children and families who access our setting.
Prospective members of the team are subject to our Safer Recruitment procedures, which includes the completion of a formal interview, play session and 3 references.
All staff hold a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, which is on the Update Service. They will complete Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection Level 1 and Food Hygiene Level 2 training by external providers.
Other formats of training include behaviour management, SEND and equal opportunities, however the list is non exhaustive.
The Nursery Manager and Deputy Managers will also receive training as a Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nurseries.
